"Bad things happen when you are shooting towards your opponents balls.." No truer words have been spoken.

Thanks Bryan for another good breakdown of running the table with the emphasis on taking care of trouble ball groupings. I have also spent more time on practice and it has helped my game immensely.

Hi Bryan thank you for yet another outstanding video. Just one tiny tiny tiny nitpick, in the overview diagrams, any chance you could edit out the head string and footspot black circles in future videos? I personally find them very distracting and when I am trying to figure out the pattern my brain keeps interpreting them as balls/obstructions. Thanks again!

I always like to watch one of your videos before I go to shoot on sundaes. Today a big 675 and under tournament is finishing up but I should be able to get a table and watch the end of the tournament. I got a new clear canoeing soft-tip put on my Q yesterday so I'm anxious to try it out. It had a predator medium tip on it before. Thanks for the video

Great stuff, as always. Patterning, and really understanding how to do it is the most important aspect of pool, IMHO. That is assuming you can shoot and place relatively well. If you can't get the cue ball where you want in all kinds of different conditions, learning that is job 1. Cue on a string and patterning intelligently, you are there.

Awesome video Brian. Super informative about the problem balls. I think thats the hardest part of 8 ball that I deal with and these videos definitely help

Always great stuff Brian, thanks again for your advice. Also, big thanks for saying "pick up the bridge." I laugh every time you say "you don't own that pocket."

Brian it would be nice to see actual breaks and then explain how you would start or play safe or run out.

Thanks for watching and I must have no less than a dozen videos where I break and run in eight ball. I have a new one coming in a couple weeks but if you search 8 ball on the channel there’s a ton of those.

What usually do, is remove most of the opponents balls, give myself ball in hand then run the rack. The only twist is I also make sure a few of mine are in as well. Oh and make the layout pretty easy.

Strategic thinking leads to strategic planning which leads to strategic action that results in obtaining achievable goals.🤓 Making the 8 ball is the goal.👌 The other balls are merely objectives that have to be attained in order to reach and ultimately achieve the goal. 👌Most players don't plan to fail, they just fail to plan.😬 Thanks for the information. A wise person uses good advice and prospers. A foolish person is just intrested in showing everyone how smart he is. Not! 😉 _______😎_______

Your "Making the 8-ball..." is the first thing I try to teach less-experienced players when I see them line-up ball-in-hands so very straight. Of course, it's very difficult to get an opponent to sink the 8-ball early, but the next best thing is forcing him to foul.
