We did the plumbing prior to installing the pool deck. That was in a different video. This feature has 2” pvc sch40 plumbing and 1” electrical conduit for the lighting

Thank you. We used a waterfall fitting made by CMP. It was 36 inches with color changing light. The box was built from CMU block and faced with cut coral stones

I enjoy your videos. The video of the waterfall with fire pit on top. Who makes the fire pit burner? Where do you put the propane tank assuming it runs off a 20lb tank. Thank you

Thank you very much. That particular fire feature was custom built for that project. I had a company in California that fabricated the burner and tray. The gas connections was hard plumbed into the houses natural gas supply. The primary company that we use for the majority of our fire features is BULL. They have multiple selections for fire pit inserts with complete assembly. The quality is good and customer service has been good. Most of the Bull components are connected to a standard propane tank that we locate within the cabinet. Be sure to have proper ventilation within the cabinet for this application. Bull also supplies stainless steel louvered access panel doors. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching. We are working on more videos

We built it directly on the pavers. That portion of the pavers are installed over the concrete collar poured around the perimeter of the pool. There is about 6 inches of concrete under the pavers

I just installed one of these yesterday mine had two fittings to be bummed in when I plumbed them in the plastic cracked around the PVC fitting that comes out of the waterfall itself. I won't know if it leaks till I actually get my pool pump wired in. What is the waterfall made of inside? Rubber tubes leading to the spillway

We used PVC to make the connections. The waterfeatur is made by CMP and is a single body with bottom connection

Thank you. Regular mortar or Portland cement works well for the base and joining the blocks. If you’re building this with a curve, then use more narrow blocks to make the radius. If the face is going to be straight then you can use a wider cement block. Be sure to leave enough room for the plumbing and light wire conduit if yours has electrical. Post some pictures when you are done. I’d love to see how it turns out. Please let me know if you have other questions. Thank you

I had a question! They say to add stuff to Portland cement like sand and aggregate. Can I just buy Portland on its own and use that? Thanks!

You can use basic portland. Sand can be added but its not necessary. I would not recommend adding aggregate for this application. @@carlosjdislaiii785

It depends on the size of the water feature. We mount the top in a way that it can be removed if needed. An access panel doesn't provide much room to work if you need to re-plumb something.

A basic tile sanded thin set or Portland cement can be used to make the connections. Thinset provides the best base for leveling

On this size water feature, We typically use the main pool circulation pump. We put the water feature on a dedicated supply line with a valve to adjust flow rate and pressure

The homeowner wanted a coral stone finish. We used blocks to frame the water feature and capped the blocks with coral. I’ll try to post a picture of the finished feature with the light on. Where does the power for the waterfall come from? Looking to install one for ours but we only have the pump pipe coming out - what does that gray conduit go to?

For the water feature, we ran a conduit for the light bar wire and PVC plumbing for the water supply. The PVC is connected to the return side of the pool pump plumbing and the power is connected to a subpanel that feeds the lights and pump. The equipment is located near the house

This is a CMP (custom molded products) water feature. We also use the PAL brand. Depending on the lights used in the pool typically determines which brand we use. CMP colors typically match Pentair and jandy light colors better

No rebar in these. The block and mortar provides sufficient strength. Also, the rebar may cause rust stains on the stacked stone veneer.
