Love this crossing, shame I don't live in the area because I'd spend most of my days here. Missus will always happen even in my videos I still to release people try and jump them.

It does seem to take a long tome between the crossing activating and the train passing over.

They have to allow extra time for the numbnuts misusing the crossing. There is a stop signal on the Down road about 200 yards from the crossing and a Platform starting signal at Poole on the Up road but of course they want to give a green or at least a proceed aspect as soon as possible.

I forgot about the numbnuts. Luckily I prefer to watch the trains go by than play Russian Roulette with a level crossing.

Garin class158 Well the crossing will be remaining open for a while yet - they're having problems with designing a replacement for the crossing. So it will be staying open for now.
