About Poomani Duraiswamy:
Poomani Duraiswamy, Group Director in the Structures Group at the U. R. Rao Satellite Centre, ISRO, joined the space program in 1991 as a spacecraft structural design engineer. Over the years, he has taken on important roles, such as Deputy Project Director for more than 16 satellite projects, and has significantly contributed to missions like GSAT-2 and INSAT-4A, among others. He has written over 10 technical papers and has received several awards, including the ISRO-ASI Team Achievement Award.
