Ingredients to make 10-12 Methi Thepla:
Whole wheat flour 1 cup + for rolling
Chickpea flour/besan 2 tbsp (optional)
Fenugreek leaves/ methi leaves ( washed and chopped) 1 cup
Oil 2 tbsp + for frying
Yogurt/dahi thick 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp or as per taste
Red chili power 1 tsp or as per taste
Cumin powder/bhuna jeera powder 1/3 tsp
Turmeric powder/haldi 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida/hing 1/6 tsp
Sesame seeds/til 1 tsp (optional)
Jaggery/gud 2 tsp (optional)
Warm water 4 tbsp or as per needed for kneading
