In rehab this teacher dude was explaining brain chemistry and was saying how brain synapses and dopamine stockpiles take like 2.5 to 3 years to rebuild. And everyone was like damn that sounds like forever and then he asked some of us how long we’d been using , everyone was saying like 5 or 10 or 15 years and he was saying if you walked for 15 days into a forest and were lost and starving and I told you you could get out in 3 days you’d be grateful. Glad to see Poopies is doing well. Here’s the thing about his drug of choice: it takes about two years for your brain to fully recover from the damage it does. So people noticing that he’s “not all there” should realize that you’re placing him in a place where it feels hopeless to even try to get sober. Give him some time, he’ll come back. As someone who battled substance use disorder for nearly 15 years with meth and heroin and lived in a car for years, I can appreciate the pink cloud feeling after 10 months of sobriety. I got clean two years ago and now work that the 3rd rehab I went through. I am a firm believer of spreading the word that there is hope when all hope is lost. With that said unfortunately some people will get clean, some people will relapse, and some will die. I tell my patients that they have to be vigilant and active with their sobriety.

It's about the total package. I know Mr. Steve-o has legitimate voice issues but because of his passion for life his nails on the chalkboard voice does not sound bad because of his authenticity. Maybe I'm off here but, I kinda get the feeling that altho yes u need to take ownership of your non sober actions that Steveo kinda was pushing all this back on Poopies and too me it's clear you can see it in his face, it's basically forcing him to retell his humiliations while he's still trying to move on from them. I just get the feeling that Steveo is further on in his sobriety and put poppies in a vulnerable place he may have not ready to be in, because this shouldn't have felt like Dr Phil and everyone laugh about it all and say ya we can edit stuff out but make it seem like he shouldn't ask for editing bcuz it's part of his story, but it's exactly that, his story to tell, it seems like he was put in an impossible position in this area of the interview and then him ODing is the headline....I'm just kinda disappointed is all, I think of steveo as not only as hard working incredibly talented and funny master marketer for his brand but also a sobriety coach in a sense and it's clear the views seemed most important this time. Just my opinion and sense from this, still a fan but this one just doesn't sit right with me. Especially bcuz the whole AA thing at the end, & you didn't even cut the name out...

It was more than just Bam being on drugs. They had lots of other beef that they were hashing out and according to pretty much everyone he was an absolute knob the entire time. He's been getting a lot better but it was more than just the drugs. It was also my extremely bad alcoholic as well, considering how his best friend died, I understand everybody else was concerned in regards to that issue specifically as well.
