I love Armin sm, this scene absolutely broke me because I am a survivor of the same thing, though it happened many times. I would do anything to give him a consensual hug and treat him as my son or younger brother, he didn’t deserve that.☹️

I actually got shivers when i saw the man caressing him, i haven't watched AoT but this is actually disgusting. And I've seen some people say that the "crew" were laughing, i actually hate getting caressed, i know it's a love language for some people but I've been "caressed" before and it actually feels so weird and it makes me shiver, it gives me goosebumps i feel really bad for the two of them nonetheless though:( Sorry for the long rant.

I don’t even watch AOT but I saw this clip for the first time shortly after a grown man had touched my waist at a convention without my consent when posing for a picture, so while it was definitely not as bad as what Armin and Mikasa went through, this scene still struck a chord with me and left me feeling heartbroken for Armin. It grosses me out how people find situations like this ok to joke about sh1t like this when it’s scarring to the victims, and those people really need to understand that it’s not just a silly little joke.
