She’d look an elder in the eyes while defying them. Then freak out thinking another would rescue her and it got to the point that they were at too much risk. What that means is both of them needs to wait for the high ranking individuals to eat first and should be submissive when they cross paths. This baby monkey displayed dominant behavior like trying to steal food from higher ranking monkeys, throwing tantrums and not displaying the submissive behaviors infront of the higher ranks. The people kept feeding the baby first infront of other adults and it didn’t help that the baby had a dominant personality which made her throw tantrums when she didn’t get her way with the alpha monkeys. She was gutted to death by an alpha male recently

Was her Mom low in monkey hierarchy? When other monkeys take Daniela her Mother doesn't fight for her. She's taken all the time & frantically calling Mom but Mom doesn't come. Why? They didn't like the camera and people around that's why they tried constantly too run some where quiet but unsuccessfully really. Very sad when all they want is peace and quiet really. And nobody gave it to them. Like others have in zoo's like Alison Cronins monkey world and in Chinas monkey sanctuary where they're loved so much and get the chances to adore each other that's the truth. The constant itching is bad nerves from never being allowed to rest or sleep. To many guilty people caused that really.

Oh no, this one was killed off shortly after this video was posted. A matter of days tops. She was killed by a rogue male after being abandoned by the troupe on the day she turned 2 months old and she looks to be right at that age here.
