I raised my 3 sons all too, there's a lot to say.. What was mostly difficult I recall was to have to deal with angry parents, notably Dads, as a single mother.. It was very unfair and impossible to handle (I had no family to protect us, my aunt was too aggressive and I cut contact with her several times for years because she was teaching hatred and bad mouthing my children's father. No matter how bad he might've been, I did my best to keep a good image of him for my kids, as for them, both parents are just as important and it is their right to have a Dad (often absent, alcoholic, etc unfortunately..). Getting back to the single mom part, once a couple kept my youngest son's winter coat in hostage because they said that he stole their son's skate board (of which there was no proof, and their child only supposed it was him, turned out it wasn't but it was very difficult to buy him a new coat and I wasn't getting any child support). I remember this incident since decades still 😒 How much power I had to deal against at the least trouble between my growing sons and other kid's parents, especially fathers. An entire family against a single mother..

Once we are aware of it, half of the problem is solved and the other half depends on ourselves whether we want to keep the situation as it is or to be changed. One hope/ guidance/ motivation works magically to rectify any situation. Kudos to those single parents who understand this Mantra very well and keep themselves ready for every challenge and change too.

I am in the part the social worker arrives. Well, Julia was so wrong in the beginning and was not giving properly education to her son. He was bullying a girl and she only protected herself.
