We purchased a Sistema Microwave Rice Cooker and the results were great! Properly cooked rice in only 12 minutes.

Under normal circumstances, I would scream it is sacrilege to put butter on rice. My Japanese mother would have beat me upside the head if I tried. Nowadays, I see it more so I bite my lip and accept it. 🤣🤣🤣 Big question is... how was the microwave cooked rice? Also, thank you for watching our video and for taking the time to let us know you tried it. We really do appreciate it very much.

Should use by the cup for the rice & water. Many people don't have a scale.

first mistake , you didnt wash the rice hence its now all sticky once cooked , it needs at least 4/5 rinses

I really appreciate your taking the time to leave a comment. That means a lot to us. Allow me to clarify. Japanese rice is sticky, no matter how often or how many times your wash it. Think of Sushi. If the rice were not sticky, we would not have Sushi or riceballs at all. (I think my lazy Japanese ancestors went with sticky rice because it is so much easier to eat with chopsticks, compared to the non sticky rice. lol)

Although I have not tried it, I am certain it is more than large enough to fit a block of Ramen. As for the Bible, is there anything in particular you wish to learn about? Mrs Poor Man indicated it is called "Inspire Bible". You can find it on Amazon at m.facebook.com/marketplace/item/669768110419329/?ref=MESSENGER_BANNER_SEE_DETAILS&showCheckout=false

I definitely understand your frustration. I did a little research to try to help you out. GO to www.unitconverters.net/weight-and-mass/grams-to-ounces.htm. They have a very easy, free, online converter that can change grams to ounces. I hope this helps. BTW, thank you so very much for watching our video and for leaving a comment.

Rice? it was very caked, that is not rice is mortar to build castles
@Poor_Mans_DIY
@Poor_Mans_DIY 4 жыл бұрын
Uncle Ben's Rice and some other countries do in fact cook rice that does not stick, while Japanese rice does stick. I assume you have never seen or eaten Sushi! It would be interesting to eat if it wasn't cooked like mortar to build castles. :-)
@c.r.m476
@c.r.m476 4 жыл бұрын
Yes I have eaten it and it is horrendous a mortar without flavor and texture. The rice is flexible, aerator, and not a mortar to build castles. Not even a dog eats something like this, and not flavored with, for example, garlic, onion, pepper ...
