The multi stage builds like this are the best. I enjoy being able to see how I can upgrade as budget allows.

I feel like these videos really show where y’all came from initially and how anyone could build up their rides step by step. It’s not always a quick build, sometimes you gotta start with whatever is more important and work your way down the list.

Have enjoyed watching your builds since the old days in the small shop. This episode is like your other upgrade shows, showing what can be done with a little time and money to put into a ride. How 'bout a "where we are now" on the HD powered cart, and the super charged cart? Keep up the good work.

The new wheels and tires make it look bad-azz!
@bradweber61332 жыл бұрын
The Ackermann angle is actually pretty simple. If you imagine your buggy driving in tight circles, and you draw a line for the travel of each front tire, you will find that the inner tire is traveling a much smaller circle than the outer tire. That smaller circle requires more angle to follow than the larger outer circle. If both tires are pointed the same direction then the outer tire needs to drag because it's too tight and the inner tire needs to drag because it's not tight enough. That's why the front slips and doesn't turn correctly. It's really that simple. It's similarly related to the purpose of a differential. The larger circle of the outer wheel is longer so that wheel needs to spin more times than the inner wheel.

I really enjoy the videos on your channel. They are the most informative I have found on you tube on building /modifying off road karts. I am using information gleaned from your channel for My current side by side off road build. (Double wishbone front, swing arm rear with Duromax 454 and TAV 40). I am having to build in modules so I can get it out of the basement. The front suspension module has adjustable suspension height and adjustable coil over geometry. This is my approach to compensate for my lack of experience in choosing the best parts for the build. If you are interested in seeing this effort I could email photos. Your comments would be welcome if you wanted to make any. At any rate, this has been a fun learning / building experience. I have built simple karts powered by Predator 212s in the past.. So, this is a huge step up from that. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I am in awe at the speed you can fabricate and build your carts.

The front suspension is similar to the Odyssey FL250. Any "old" trick to the odyssey will work on that front suspension. I found a set of "J" arms that was braced up on Ebay.
@TheClintmeister2 жыл бұрын
To clarify. The inside of the "J" arm had "C" channel beefing it up. Then longer shocks and moved shock mounts.
