Reality is something different. For starters, in Germany there are nation wide protests and road blocks by ' just stop oil' protestors.. German engineering which returns a substandard of less than 10 km average per liter of petrol and pollutes the world in a larger scale. For main dish, Germany is in a recession. Whereas the environment friendly Maruti Suzuki provides a 20 km average per liter of petrol and saves the petroleum in a larger scale for future generations and saves the earth for future generations by less pollution. Also, for dessert, what happened to the Volkswagen scam of pollution level hiding by their engineering? Is this sorted out?

1) Loudness is measured in decibels. 2) The door "thud" that we get while closing the doors is actually engineered to sound a certain way to give us a false sense of safety and build. 3) Insulation is engineered to deaden the white noise (the common sounds we get from engines, fans, tires, etc.), some cars also use a microphone to pick up the cabin sound and play a sound with an inverse frequency to cancel the noise (active noise cancellation similar to headphones).

2. The door "thud" that we get while closing the doors is actually engineered to sound a certain way to give us a false sense of safety and build. even so only high quality build cars like VW , Skoda, Mercedes and now tata has this thud sound, it shows the amount of time spend to perfect something and also the materials used on the door is heavy unlike a swift which uses very thin metal sheets.
@rangacat Жыл бұрын
@@GowthamV07well said. It’s been a design trait for long. There have been cases how Carmakers tried very hard and invested millions of $ to recreate that German car ‘thud’. Despite mere psychoacoustics, the ‘thud’ is partly caused by strength of materials as well. So, the safety factor cannot be completely ruled out.
@varunu4176 Жыл бұрын

Automatic provides excellent comfort and convenience especially inside city. Please choose the right transmission. CVT and torque converters are the best albeit not being very efficient, especially the later. Dual clutches are the best but not reliable. Very expensive to repair. AMTs are relatively cheap but not very good in terms of smoothness. So, choose wisely.
