Yes, Poots is an awesome succulent nursery. I live in Tracy, out in the country, about 15 miles from Manteca. Our soil is pretty much just clay, so figuring out which succulents can not only survive our clay soil, but also withstand our 9b heat and frost is a challenge. I am learning so much from you about designing, about bringing in the soil and then planting the succulents and cactus. Thank you for coming to the Central Valley, and sharing how to design and plant our succulent and desert gardens. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Woweee the cacti are so HUGE and beautiful! Was gonna say they must be 100 years old! So how come the large barrel cactus inside didn’t pup like the large one outside? I never knew they pup like that. I was in the mood for a small potted cactus indoors but decided against it. Was afraid our kitties would get hurt …. 🙁

What a wonderful nursery! So glad you showed it to us, your fans. I have a question. If a monocarpic (?) plant started to bloom and you cut the bloom stalk off would the plant still die? This question came to me while you were showing us one of the plants 🪴 beginning to throw off a bloom stalk.

Laura, the first step to recovery is to admit you're a junkie. Its ok, I am too. We should meet up at the 12-step recovery group therapy session at Waterwise Botanicals on the 1st Saturday of each month. From one junkie to another, take it just one spiral cactus at a time.
