Timothy could theoretically get extended tanks given your just cutting a hole in them and slapping on more metal on it to hold more water. You can legit get the MK2, mold some modeling clay to his tanks to make it look extended, paint it up in the same grey as Timothy and just blue tack it on and bam, extended tank Timothy, don't even add the lining, like the crew at Crovan's gate didn't want to go through the pain of repainting Timothy and just give the tanks the grey paint he has and nothing more

Ok, I heard your issue about the consistency with the old Timothy and the new Timothy and how you could justify it, and I might have an idea. I know this might be a bit cheesy, but what you could do, is that you could make it so canonically, Timothy never had extended sidetanks, and it was all in the other engine’s heads, because I looked it up, and apparently some ghost can indeed morph into different beings, some of themselves. So with this, you could also make it so that it switches from extended sidetanks to the one with no extended sidetanks, to show both the time when he didn’t have sidetanks, and the other where he did have sidetanks.

Hey there matey, I believe the grey I used is Revell Matt 75, it's a light shade of grey but I can't remember if I added any white or dark grey to it when mixing, just go with what you think looks right!
