Sam....I have watched this for the 3rd time. I love watching you and I think it's your confidence in paper crafting (in addition to beautifully designed projects) that inspires me. Thank you for your generosity. Teaching/demonstration sessions are not the same as putting projects together for personal use . It requires planning and organization. I aim to make these today anticipating Christmas needs! Yes, you heard me....I'm getting started on Christmas. I often wonder what you do with all your projects after completion. You have mighty lucky recipients!

I'm now thinking that a ribbon also can be placed over and around top and bottom of completed box so recipients who mistakenly carry the box from lid only will keep the box (lid/bottom) together so contents don't spill out. And I would staple it (ribbon) at the top where it angles (then cover staple with a die cut) to keep ribbon conforming to box profile.

Great tutorial and I Love this and so want to make it but here is a silly question lol what is 7/16 of an inch (maths not my strong point sadly) however I do have the simple score and metric plate and a trimmer that is in inches too but for the life of me I can't work out where the 7/16 of an inch is ...... please help :)

I can help you Allison on your ruler if there is 16 little lines between 1" and the 2" space then they are your 16 so just count along the little lines sometimes the ruler has 8 little lines between these are called 8 ths of an inch hope this helps

On the bottom part, when you cut about half away of the tabs, you're off camera. When you show the bottom,, just before you put together, it's different! It doesn't look the same. I guess it's just me. Sorry! Angel You're so talented!

I so do love these kind of crafts but I am very bad when it comes to math the 7/8 and the let's say 5/16 which is not here I really get lost with those kind of measurements and I I loss paper is there any way it can be easier way when it comes to doing them the scoring board doesn't show where they are at I'm sorry if I sound stupid but for people like me there has to be an easier way for us to get to know where these measurements are please can you help either by zooming in and we can mark it
