AllRiseForMusic Lana Del Rey identifies as indie/psychedelic rock despite being on pop charts. The reason for that is the mainstream doesn't have a place for Lana's genre so they mesh it into one list since they have to recognize her (amazing) talent. Meanwhile Paramore/Hayley Williams identify as alternative rock (same reason for the pop charts.) Just because the media meshes them together doesn't mean you should. It's how to respect the artists. And I'm aware she's done a better job than most which is why I commended her at the end of my comment. It's *constructive* criticism.
