Pearl is my birthstone and I've never really liked it either. But Pearl Yoki is adorable! I love gemstones (and bats!) and know a ton about them. The angel one is Angel Aura (a man made crystal that is made by bonding quartz crystal with metals to make it shiny).Goldstone is also man made (glass with gold flecks added). I'm sad I started collecting after this series was over and done with. I have no idea if I'd be able to get some where I am. I look forward to the planet Yoki. Because that was the other series I was contemplating. And for a fursona, you need to make it up yourself. But you can be inspired by anything you want, just make it unique!
