NGL i love the design and was thinking about buying this. I love the minimalistic black design and very compact case. Although Iwill look at tests too see how it holds up in temperatures. I dont want an oven sitting in my desk

Got the same case, simplistic, minimalist, quite, good airflow, good clearance, very good build quality, running a 10980Xe and a 3090 with a 280MM aio, 1 exhaust still getting 58c max cpu temps under load, 71c gpu (hof 550watt bios)

There's actually vents in the top u can remove the plastic panels to put different ones in for higher airflow this is a case for quietness and to rid any coil whine sounds yes u will hear fans still but be less sound at higher rpms

It’s a shame these don’t come with usb c on the front panel by default. A bit illogical to have the ports ready but not have it installed. Not every market around the world can get their hands on that usb c cable/module from Fractal.

I like the advert, but you are missing something important- airflow! We need large vents at the front - the bigger and flower the fan the quieter but it also produces low pressure. So this is a hot loud case despite your work. Especially with such a utilitarian design.

Is it worthy to upgrade from a Define C to that one? It looks cheaper than the Define C series

It's if focused on silent like the define c mini so this is expected not to have a good airflow but not a bad one if you consider changing the PSU fan position and replacing case fans with better ones, budget wise stick with stock fans since all of the fan slots are already covered.

The issue is quiet fans are large and have little pressure so need wide open intakes. Not even suitable for very low performance, worse cooling here than laptops by the looks.

Guess so they removed the top vents which where most of the heat comes out rather than the rear, either get a founder's edition and change PSU position for extra exhaust.

You will have to explain the logic to me for not allowing active cooling on 3.5" hard drives. Or you know cases but know nothing about storage? Or you assume is 100% SSD world by now? I call this design regression.
