I remodeled my 2001 coleman bayside elite. I’m not a professional whatsoever, this is not a tutorial, this just a timelapse of my journey getting my camper looking a little modern and hopefully it will inspire you to do the same with yours.. 😀

Absolutely knocked this one of the park. Love the interior color scheme. Makes me want to redo the inside of mine. Got a 95 Coleman and you’re giving me load if ideas. I have redone the curtains and used zip ties around the plastic clip with a curtain clip. I thought the hot glue would give me problems later. Happy camping 🎉😊

Looks great! We have a 2006 Bayside with a cassette toilet. We find that the toilet is the best part lol. Ours need a face lift also

I would call this a maintenance video. Other than the painting, which is a definite pain in the butt, everything else is maintenance whoever in the camper in the past should’ve kept the canvas cleaner. That is kind of hard you just don’t think of keeping your canvas clean and one day it’s just not in good shape. You should do another video and call it yearly maintenance. It should include wheel bearings tire wear lubing/greasing and all the rest of the stuff that you fixed that should’ve been checked every year.

I didn’t sand but I did peel off the material on it (don’t know what it’s called lol) but it like a plasticky paper, and once it’s removed it’s really easy to paint on. Good luck with your project, and have fun

Where did you get the fabric for stripped cushions & curtains?

I got all that at Walmart, I think I spent $55 total for all the fabric and $15 or 20 for the curtains

That's a huge pop-up. We had a pretty big one when I was a teenager, but that was before they invented pull-outs. This is the first I'm seeing them on a pop-up camper. But the couch in front of the bed seems like a wasted opportunity to have a little bathroom. Not long after we got our camper, they figured out how to squeeze those in; I remember going to camper shows and us looking at them with longing. Even so, we had a potty in a bottom cabinet that we could slide out, so we were covered in the middle of the night.
