Pop Up Pillar Card

Today I show you how to make a Pop-Up Pillar Card. I first saw this on the "Crafting with Jamie Rodgers and Craftmania" You Tube Channel, so I decided to have a go!

Marvelous tip at the 11:30 minutes mark for placing the strips on the white pillars, covering the inside of the pillar in front. I love these bold designs and interactive cards. They are true works of art. My aunties and uncles are getting really old and we never know how long they'll be around. So I make it my life's purpose to give them the most elaborate cards with every occasion that I can come up with. And this is a winner again.

Thank you! You can use any dies you'd like. The card with the penguin and polar bear on doesn't use any special dies. I cut the slope using scissors! Hope that helps

i have a question please? if you are adding acetate, when would you place that?

Hi, you'd add the acetate straight after you added the two pillars - before you add your card house section, as explained near the start of the tutorial. Hope this helps. 😊

I REALLY love your card. I think your paper is just perfect. I live in Australia. Do you know anywhere else I can buy this paper as the company nominated under the video does not ship to Australia? The pack has some awesome papers I have never seen before

Hi. On PC, there's an option to translate. If you Google it, it'll show you how to do it. I can't remember exactly how I did it now but I know it is possible. Hope that helps.
