POP- UP: tutorial video

Great machine! Could you please let me know what is the "F" option for? It can be set to 1.0 (FW Power version) or 1.2 (FW Display version), for some reason it's skipped in the tutorial and manual. Also, once the machine is set to "off" when pressing the water button for 4s, it automatically turns on after 10 or 15minutes. I’ve seen someone having the same issue on Pop version of this machine, is it faulty behavior or am I missing something?
