In that regard If you go thru American Magazines, Websites and other publications dedicated to Guitars, Music or Blues, you will notice he does not receives the same media attention like other guitar players of similar stature like Joe Bonamassa or Kenny Wayne Shepherd to name a few. So I’m in fact very happy and glad if in Romania he is appreciated and given equal media attention like other guitar players of similar skill and stature.

He's not covering Hendrix. Hendrix also did a cover version of a song that was written and recorded by the artist that wrote it as well as several other bands that covered it before Hendrix did. Its just that the Hendrix version is the most well known.

Anyone who says this guys better than that guy, or this is better than that like it's a fact, probably isn't a musician. It's about interpretation. To each their own Izzy- rock on & enjoy.
