Great video, You guys should look into installing the cab supports to help keep it from bouncing and keep everything all tight and secure

Great build. Nice looking race truck. This class is so neat to watch. Track in California did a 27 truck start 20 min Turkey race for Thanksgiving. Wow what a cool race to view.

The truck looks great! Aylesbury may be updating the truck rules for next season to include the core 21 motor and lipo’s to bring it inline with other clubs. Are you racing it at Aylesbury this Friday?

Might be able to make it … il check the diary

Some of the guys at the local truck scene, had used hotglue to glue the rear corners of the cab, to the truck body lowerpart, said it really helps a bit with the bouncyness of the frontend caused by the Hahn truck body. I think your truck turned out superb, look forward to see it in some racing footage. :D

Good to know … will bare that in mind when this gets ripped to prices on the track …

@@PopalongRC I've never seen the cab come off anything myself, that one in the video, probably was put on quite lightly. I pressed the spots where the tape are together quite hard, and also used the kit suggested screws to keep the cab in place (buggyra). :) If you do get it ripped to piece, I hope you got your camera out ;D

Best bet is to check with your local clubs not all clubs run trucks .

Nice and informative guys, great bit of work, the cab is an issue, but you might wanna try sticky back velcro for this, also handy for changing over Rx TX in the cars too 👍🍺
@PopalongRC2 жыл бұрын
Yeah might have to get some more velcro as it does do the job well.

Great vid. ❤. What is the easiest way to take the shell off at the front. Do you need king nose pliers to put the shell pins on and off ? Thinking about buying one asap

Made the 'mistake' of going down to the Torbay MRCC last night. I was initially going to look at the Xpress Minis but it was the first night they were racing these. I used to race an Associated TC3 with an after market truck body on back in the day so my attention got moved from the Minis to the trucks............... 'apparently' a truck is arriving before the weekend 😁😁😁

Restarting into the hobby after a while. Really great points. Especially with the polycarbonate body. What are the recommended Tamiya motors when you are racing?
@PopalongRC Жыл бұрын
most clubs stick with torque tuned but some allow the core 21

So after you have had it a while and raced it. Which Body is better the cab over or the long nose truck . Any pros and cons to either
