I used to hang in GTown between 91 and 94 either every weekend or everyday, used see Alonzo Mourning and them every weekend. I was living in Fairfax, VA when all of this was going on in DC was very unsafe in the early to mid 1990's. I was actually in Georgetown in DC shopping on M street when Benny Lee Lawson did the unthinkable (I will not mention it here please look it up). As a result of his mentally ill actions the police and FBI swept through DC kicking in doors and arresting anyone and everyone for the next several days who had any association with the Kennedy Street Crew.
