Both of them did so well, I cannot believe Panda is only 7 he seems really bomb proof for his age and he did so well. Harlow you are lucky to have these ponies they are amazing. Popcorn may be spicy but that has improved your riding so much. Well done on your first complete event!

Harlow is such a good rider. She can sit a "bronc" and "spicy pony" and still stay on. The "zoomies" are great when Popcorn gets going and really turns on the speed. In particular, the video with Popcorn running in the farm field among the yellow flowered field plants is one of my favorites, and the background music for those videos is great. What a special sweet pony Popcorn is, and I love when he "smiles". He always looks so eager to move out on the competition courses, and you ride him so well. I am a long-time fan and love watching your channel. Thank you for taking us on the journey with you. I love Harlow's "sassy wink" too, and when she "sings" to Popcorn. These two were meant to be together.

It looks like she's trying to learn how to use them.... But I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to kick with spurs?

@@DAC_eq I think she’s definitely new to using spurs, I think the reason why she used them all the time for panda is because he looks slightly more slow / lazy and because it was harlows first time out with panda her instructor might have told her to use spurs for him just to reassure her and him perhaps. For popcorn idk why she used them on him really because as you can see in the video he was clearly quite spicy and forward but I think it’s probably just because popcorn does refuse and Harlow or her instructor didn’t want many or any refusals and they wanted to go clear,I’m not sure why she’s really using them though I personally don’t think popcorn needs spurs and as for panda I’m not sure because he’s fairly new but for pandas showjumping i agree but xc and dressage I’m not sure

I love the way you patted Panda after the dressage test! Just a tip, if you kick him less he'll move forward better. The way you do it now it's a constant impulse (a lot of people do that actually) but horse brains don't do well with that. Other than that the dressage test was very well ridden!

That's basically called nagging (the constant kicking). Most horses really don't do well with it, it can make them tense, spooky, stiff in the long term just to name a few.
