I have tried the shop popcorn with same cooker you are having.. it came out well for me.. you have to dry the popcorn for 5 minutes before closing the lid... Close the lid properly with rubber ring for 30 seconds. And open and close the lid slightly on your opposite side. Do not put too much popcorn on the cooker.
