As a child in Australia at the Brisbane agricultural show - the Ekka there used to be a puppet show where a puppet played Popcorn on a piano and at the end the piano used to explode. Such a happy memory of childhood. Thanks for the reminiscence

Thank you so much for this remix. Gershon Kingsley wrote this timeless anthem in the year I was born. This song is immortalized in the breast milk I was given back then. I always thought you couldn't do this masterpiece any better. To this day, many versions are more than good, but they show that you can do good things differently. With this remix you have magically brought tears of joy to the eyes of a now ageing listener. I'm totally sure that thousands of years, when mankind has outlived itself, this hymn will still be played. Some will then ask themselves, who was this genius?

First time i listened this music at summer 1969 in the children's pioneer camp of our ruch collective farm, Sukko Valley, on the coast of Black sea, near Anapa, Russia, USSR. It was located between two mountains. Thst day there was an amateur performance party, a girl in a black leotard danced to this music, something like a rhythmic Charleston, or aerobics. then, as then, girls always loved and love to dance. but I didn’t know it then, it was a vivid impression I fell in love with this girl, with the music, with the evening, with the sea, with life.

Actually the original by Gershon Kingsley was released in 1969, but the Hot Butter version is by far the most played one. A coincidence that 22 September this year I will turn 71 and still enjoy the music of my youth. 🙂
