I think this is The Rise of Phoenixes (2018) with Mr. Chen Kun as Prince Ning Yi (he is also in The Wind Blows from Longxi) and my favorite Ms. Ni Ni as Feng Zhi Wei (star of Love & Destiny). Also actor Ni Da Hong as the Emperor Ning (also in Evernight) & Zhao Li Xiu as Xin Zi Yan (stars in the film Cao Cao). Says that Ni Ni dresses as a man in order to become a scholar/minister and ends up dealing with palace intrigue. This was one of the first series that Ni Ni made - it has 70 episodes!

Agreed. The male antagonist who played the heir to the throne was one of the finest actors I've ever seen but the actor playing the Prince of Chu is also excellent. Having said that, it's hard to think of any actor in this drama who isn't well-trained and well-directed. The plot is clever and unexpected and the dialogue is thoughtfully written. Definitely a keeper!

Me llamo la atención este capítulo para ver si era buena la trama...pero visto un error..un agujero en su proceder....cosa que la mayoría..no todas...las novelas chinas tienen...no se fijan en pequeños detalles que molestas si eres muy detallista ...pero en el detalle está el arte de narrar y lo hábil que es el narrador como inteligente que no se le pasa en alto nada...ninguna incongruencia que no debe existir...como el hecho que los príncipes dieron la carta con la respuesta a su majestad....pero también debieron dar en otra carta el significado de ella....ya que cualquier significado que dieran las chicas que a ellos le gusta sería la correcta sin ese significado ya escrito...como paso....osea que cualquier resultado la joven más hermosa podían escojer sin que fuera su verdadero significado para el príncipe....no tiene un buen argumento esto👍
