Monte won all the right competitions that kept him safe towards the end of the season (Final 6 veto, Final 5 HOH, final 4 veto, and final HOH). He was literally immune from going home in the endgame, but this jury was hard to predict. I honestly think Brittany got into his head a little bit. He overestimated Turner's game not realizing that most houseguest gave him credit for voting out Michael, while underestimating Taylor's jury management and it cost him. However, it really difficult to predict how the jury will think on a season like this.

Monte chose Taylor because he thought she would be easy to beat not because he went with his heart. Monte underestimated Taylor’s social game and he actually believed the lies that people were spreading about Taylor during her first 2 weeks in the house, that’s why he kept her in the game over Turner. Monte thought Taylor was an easy win because no one liked her but he was wrong.

Looking back what started the full on hate against Taylor was because of Monte! Yes some of the ladies was clearly intimidated by Taylor off back but what gave everyone a "reason" to go at her was when he said she lied on paloma no proof nothing just outright said she was lying! I agree with you. I feel bad for him as well. The only thing I had an issue with was that his solution was creating an all-white alliance...however, I dont think that thought was rooted in racism...he didnt think that through. Turner said in an interview with The Winner’s Circle that the Jury House had already made the decision that they were voting for Taylor if she was still in the game after their discussion with Dr Will. The reason the Jury voted for Taylor was due to her strong social game, which was much stronger than Monte’s.
