Fr. Altman was at the Mara Logo event, on St. Joseph’s fearday, March 19, Praying for President Trumo that was organized by John Yep of Catholics for Catholics. He was interviewed by Vickie of CUP after the dinner, and Fr. Altman explained that he’d been dealing with various Heslth issues. He looked very vibrant and enthused. I was afraid that he might have been disciplined or shunned as a consequence of his most recent video. No such matters as he had the full support of all people in the audience. Speakers included: Jim Cavesial, (Fr.) Frank Pavone, the minister from Canada who suffered such abuse during the Covid lockdown (He was e en out in prison.)

Somebody should inform the people on the status of Fr. Altmann in relation to this show. No one knows if he was dropped from this show because of his stance on Francis, or if there is another reason. I think you owe an explanation to your faithful listeneners. If he was cancelled because of the pope issue, I think that would be pretty strange since I heard you say you're praying for Bergoglio's conversation. Praying for a person's conversion can only mean that you believe, that person is outside the faith. Fr. Altmann said what you, and probably most traditional catholics believe. That Francis is not the pope because he is outside of the faith. The difference is Fr Altmann and now Archbishop Vigano have the courage to say it. But, if I'm wrong, and you do believe Francis is a legit pope than you should quit praying for his conversion because that is very confusing and really lacks commonsense.

Exactly. i haven't missed an episode of F&R since its inception and is one of my favorite weekly shows. I find it curious that after Fr Altman's take on the status of Pope Francis, he disappears from the show with absolutely no explanation. If Lifesite News has determined he is too spicy for the show now, why not tell us? If Fr Altman has determined he needs some time off then why not tell us that? Even if there is other reasons for this that they do not want to disclose, just tell us that as well. But to just say nothing as if us regular viewers aren't going to notice is a bit naive.

I suspect for this reason: The Code of Canon law states that one who holds office in the Church does not lose his office until it is declared that he lost it. Its for the Church to make that call. Individual Catholics don’t have the authority to depose a pope. We would be in shambles if everyone got to decide for themselves who is and isn’t Pope. We must prayerfully wait and see.

Not necessarily; simply two different perspectives. Archbishop Vigano is giving a hypothesis to consider. Don't forget, he worked in the Vatican and knew all the workings, the who's who, what everyone was doing and what everyone was being silent on. He knows the full history, so his perspective is from a more administrative function.

They aren’t opposed, just playing different roles and both are needed. Schneider is leading the laity in a return to holiness, but Vigano is speaking primarily to the timid bishops, giving them a rationale to just hold the course and not implement any more novelty from Rome. If the bishops stay the course, Schneider and Strickland can lead a revival of the faith. Soldiers use various weapons and multiple strategies. We can do that too.

The argument that a pope remains always a pope because at one time the cardinals and therefore the people accepted the person as pope and so he cannot be removed is fallacious because: As Jesus Christ said for marriage, "marriage cannot be dissolved EXCEPT FOR A WRONG MARRIAGE. what God unites let no man put asunder." So a wrong or false election, even if it was accepted, if it was wrong it can be declared null. If not, the church has no authority to declare a marriage null.

Why do people complicate and pontificate on this issue of women priestesses? It’s simple and Biblical: God made male and female, He also said of Jesus “this is my beloved son” Therefore God has declared Jesus to be male. So, if a woman during consecration says the words “this is my body” it would be an invalid consecration and transubstantiation would not take place. The sacrifice of the Mass would not happen, the parishioners would not be receiving the body and blood of of Christ! End of conversation!!

With all due respect, I think that the Pope's answers to the dubia are quite clear. I don't think a process of answering a question means that a decision is made (as one of the interviewer said). In fact the answers themselves don't offer a decision, but rather an opportunity to look at the Gospel from other perspectives. Note, that our world is not black and white, and even for some people who think it is, we, as sinners, don't have the authority to judge others. A challenge that I remind my self each day - what makes me more special than anyone else to cast a judgement on others, especially they do no harm to me. One of the major issues with our church is that some of us hold on to that limited perspectives and therefore fail to see the cardinal message of the Gospel - Love. Everything else fades in the face of Love.
