Im a filipino catholic the news here is not true philippines is progressive nation under duterte administration and the daily average wage is not under 2 dollars but 8 to 10 dollars look at the many western vloggers who visited philippines. Yes there are poor people but many are rich too its a democratic country even america has a lot of homeless where i also lived. The catholic church must be a bearer of truth and fair news, im catholic but this is very unfair to us filipino catholics not all bishops are against duterte we have romulo valles a bishop in davao who is supportibe of duterte administration but some bishops are still longing of the lost drug money that is given to their dioceses thats why they are against duterte coz duterte had clean and control the drug business in the philippines where the previous aquino administration has benefiited from the drug syndicate as well as some bishops who received drug money as tites and alms and now they are not receiving anymore coz duterte destroyed the drug syndicate. Catholics should be bearer of truths and not the other way around.

These bishops are lamenting because they are losing influence in the philippines. Many of them ask money from the government to make their lives comfortable, asking cars and home renovations but they neglect the plight of the poor, the rising numbers of hiv/aids infection as much as 3,800 are infected daily, and the average age are between 15-19 yrs old. The fastest growth in the world yet they keep on looking the other way. These bishops will not lay their lives for their sheep, many of them have wives and children. Some are even gay.. our president have brought these things into light to expose their wickedness. And the gall to criticize those who sin.. check yourselves and your own backyard first.
