Frank Lloyd Wright’s work shines through even in his smallest works. I truly appreciate the level of detail he put into every house design.

We toured this home this past spring. Truly a wonderful place. And the guide was brilliant in sharing so much information and insight into its history. Well worth visiting!

Wonderful trip down memory lane. Marjorie and I became friends in the late 60’s and I accepted many invitations to visit with her in the late afternoon when sunsets played with the clerestory window patterns on the wall. The house needs time to savor. She loved to serve tea in those china cups. She was a grand lady in a very modest house.

@@grandpepere That sounds absolutely wonderful. The house does change by the minute, it’s amazing to observe.

I really like the concept of the light and the outdoors seen from the huge glass windows being the decoration.

I live in the area and took my parents to see this masterpiece a few years ago. My parents and I both said Praire style is not our style. But after touring with wonderful docent we were ready to move in! 😂

Beautiful House but the kitchen or "workspace" terrifies me !!

@@greatmustis can’t say I disagree there! But I like to think it was more than most people had at the time and they managed wonderfully anyhow!

I’ve never been in a Wright house that didn’t smell of mildew from the flat roofs leaking.

You have never been to a Wright designed house.

Ugh. FLW totally overrated. His stuff is interesting if you squint, but if you really look at it, it's like a rushed middle schooler slap-dashed it together. None of it is good, but it is interesting.
