Christendom must unite w/others, like myself, who would otherwise be considered and have been so, to be heathens, nonbelievers. As the First was of Christendom, the next Crusade must be a unification of all non-Islamic Faith's to defend against this ever growing existential threat.

Pope Urban II fulfilled what Christ told the people and His disciples saying" I came not to bring peace but a sword ".
@ratatat123562 жыл бұрын
well jesus was talking about division between families. it's symbol of a sword dividing people in bitter disagreement as to his divinity.

Another good vid, nicely done. I always formed the general impression that Urban II was a sincere leader, and didn't merely seek to use the crusades to expand papal authority, (which is something some other popes could be accused of).

Romans “12:19 Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. 12:20 But if the enemy be hungry, give him to eat; if he thirst, give him to drink. For, doing this, thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head. 12:21 Be not overcome by evil: but overcome evil by good.” And yet you guys are yelling deus vult in every religious comment section. Christianity is a religion of dignity and serenity.

The Crusades were a justified response to centuries of Islamic attacks. It is sinful for good, capable men to fail to protect the innocent.
@anthonymillanta6287 жыл бұрын
400 years of relentless Islamic jihad and the Christians get shit on for retaliating. I'm surprised it took that long to be honest.

So let jihadists take your underaged daughters/sisters as sex slaves and slaughter you and your young sons/brothers? Christians in Syria, Iraq, etc are fighting against them ...
