Popeye eats spinach during lunch and dinner and anything he needs it to use. But he must eats oatmeal during breakfast time. But imagine if Quakers ever made a spinach flavored oatmeal with real spinach in the ingredients. That would suits Popeye perfectly.

@@Babbleplay I rather have the spinach and the oatmeal myself because I'm a vegetarian. The Campbell's Chunky soup I would and could eat is the Savory Vegetable, which it's the only vegetarian (even vegan) friendly Chunky soup.

there was a Popeye radio show back in the 30's and Popeye did not eat spinach - he ate Wheatena's cream of wheat to become strong. They sponsored the show so the showrunners shoehorned it in, by name, into the plots.
