I have searched all over the internet for a Frida doll repaint and cannot believe there are more Disney princesses,cartoon inspired, celebrity inspired and super hero dolls out there! As for historical groups, the wives of Henry VIII would be lovely, very sad, but very special and unique to Western history. For American history, Harriet Tubman comes to mind, she was a plain looking woman but her courage and bravery shine from her heart. She would be an especially good subject as the new president is reopening the project to have her face on the US$20 bill.

I love it! Especially the embroidery, the fan, and the shoes. The hairstyle as well! Though I can't help but notice the resemblance of Queen Elizabeth to Red Queen from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. If you put it that way, you can also imagine Marie Antoinette as White Queen! Actually, her red hair was real. Oh, and something about Marie Antoinette you might not know, she never wore wigs. All of the hairstyles you see her wearing was her real hair.

I thought the same, but I guess a wig that big would be hard to mantain in place. Besides, dolls don't have the same issue with fleas these women had...I think? I would have died if she first rooted her with short hair and then added the wigs, tho XD

Historical dolls i’d love to see: Cleopatra or Nefertiti, Katherine the Great, Hürrem or Kösem Sultan. Eleanor of Aquitaine, Dyah Gitarja, Warrior Queen Amina of Zazzau...there are so many cool queens.

We call the hair pins “bobby-pins” in the USA, I used to do ballet so I’d have them in my hair almost all the time
