@@edwinajacobs784 art isn't defined by effort or medium used, it's defined by the end result and not one single opinion really matters when it comes to the subject. I can argue zero effort or paint was used in the creation of the grand canyon or sunsets, yet many would agree they are works of art.

Have always been expressionist, impressionist, acrylic pour art before this. Now I am understanding, appreciating, and trying abstract, thanks to you. Pour art is so messy/expensive, and the other styles are more tedious, but NO MORE beautiful, impressionistic or expressionist than what you have shown me. Thank you!!

At first I thought the first minute of the video was the style of the painting - using the tubes themselves and just squeezing it out into shapes. Then the palette knife came out and I was like ooh, detail. Then the palette knife drew the color across the canvas, and I was a little confused, but I began to see the lovely background you were creating. Then you added the flowers into the foreground, and they really brought out the whole painting. It’s amazing how just a few easy strokes create this. But then I try to do something like this and it turns into a blob. But I’m not an artist. This style of yours is extraordinary. I’m usually not one to see the same things artists see, but this I do love. And it’s relaxing. Kinda like Bob Ross but without his soothing voice.

My first thought when watching these videos is “I could do that, it’s just smearing paint on canvas.” But I know I wouldn’t be able to get the colors and composition right, and I’d over-blend it to be a brown mess. I don’t have that artistic instinct to know when to stop!

You totally can do this, because it's not special at all. With a little practices, anyone can do this, my cat can do this and he can't even hold the brush and paint.
