good job on your first time... next time you should cut off the twist tie and separate the hair about 4 times and then you want need as many packs and it still will be big trust me you want have the knot problem anymore

You can swim with this hair. I spent 3 days at a water park, fully immersed my hair and cowashed it and it's still pretty. I even brushed it with a Denman brush.
