I've been trying to play mono white, uw, and rb magecraft decks since week 1 of strixhaven and some days I go 10-0 and other days I just lose to all matches (even to starter decks in unranked). Two cards that have worked well for me where basri's solidarity and kaya's onslaught.

Sleep of the Dead is an amazing card for this deck. For 1 mana you can get a magecraft trigger, take care of a blocker for 2 turns, and it escapes for 3 mana and 3 cards.

29:17 Every time you played an Instant/Sorcery before playing a Sage on the same turn in this game made me sad for the 2 damage you missed.
@ShineThatLight3 жыл бұрын
So can anyone else weigh in here; 19:35 to 19:45 If you play the second Show Of Confidence here in response to the Magecraft trigger, the two spells "see" each other and the first spell would've gotten to copy itself instead of the trigger whiffing. Is that accurate?
@Kleemoor3 жыл бұрын
LVD did this with Selesnya and said you can play the white Package with basically every other color. Seems like he was right if you can even build a Azorius deck with it. great shit man :). Will try it out. It is also fun with sedgemore Witch (black)

What do you think about running Mentor's Guidance for a deck like this? It's two copies of Opt played simultaneously for 2U, essentially. Every creature in your deck except Lurrus triggers it's duplication. Which, with all of the Magecraft available in the deck, seems really strong to me.

Back to MTGArena for 3 weeks now... made a deck similar to this one as soon as i got back. Its a bit less consistent due to the land differences, but still amazing. Show of confidence + Lightscribe + creatures + any random spell can be a bit tricky to calculate dmg.. sometimes i go for the kill thinking im getting him to 1 and they end up -15 Need to get that 1 white , 1/1 counter + learn in my deck

@marlowemouse3 жыл бұрын
Buying boosters is the short term solution, playing drafts is the long term one. Drafting helps hone your skills all around and the more you improve the more it pays off collection-wise. Plus drafts are hella fun :D
