Wow such high energy. Rie is outstanding as are all the girls. Got to love Kanade. Rena Shimizu should be with The Jazz Avengers. It's such a shame that these great musicians don't play much outside Japan. They should have a residency at Ronnie Scott's in London. I'm absolutely buzzing after that performance.

Ohhhh Yeah! 12 minutes of progressive jazz/rock fusion performed by some of Japan's finest! The pool of talented musicians in Japan is amazingly deep!

Rie’s tone is always so good, whether it be lead or rhythm. Love that she keeps jazz fusion alive, and surrounds herself with the best of musicians!

100% it makes me really frustrated when there are musicians who do reaction videos who do not even get how good she is. love who she also gets to surround herself with, always so much talent, Rina Hoshino is a master on the bass too holy F this groove...Kanade in the pocket? that keyboard player and tenor sax, wow. just an outstanding 12 minutes that flies by. cannot get enough of this one.

Everyday I wake up to a Poppin Record video drop is good day. Today, is a downright special one. How awesome is this! Drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, and an epic sax solo. What else could you possibly want? Amazingly, Reina Shimizu is not a performer I was already familiar with. I love how Rie constantly introduces me to these wonderful musicians.

The beginning groove reminds me of Les McCann and Eddie Harris’s “Compared to What?” but goes in an all together different direction shortly afterwards. Rie and the girls kill it as usual with each taking their turns showing their prowess on their respective instruments. Two thumbs up!
