To answer Jordan’s question: We cook things to make them easier to digest. Raw foods (especially meats, and proteins like eggs) are much harder to digest by the acids in our stomach.

To clear up confusion regarding vitamins: prehistorically, we not only ate food (like vegetables) with more vitamins, we ate a wider variety of food, because we couldn't rely on finding the same food every day. Because we travelled around and ate all sorts of things, we got all the vitamins we needed; problems started when we started farming and eating the same thing every day, so we would only get 1 or 2 vitamins and develop deficiencies.

It’s so amazing to a person who struggles with anxiety and depression to hear Jordan’s take on combating unhappiness. Mind you, I’m not upset, it’s just fascinating to hear how his mind processes emotions.

GAD and MDD person here too. I think the idea Jordan has behind it all is something a lot of people need to learn, that happiness is a goal people need to strive for just like any of their other values. A lot of people think of obtaining happiness as selfish, that if they put themselves before others it makes them a bad person when it's really not. So being able to tangibly see the effects of your actions makes it so much easier to objectively way the costs and benefits when making difficult life choices. But yeah as they discussed the competitive nature and the unreasonable comparing it would derive is the ideas biggest shortcoming.

from google (the best source) The researchers concluded that multivitamins don’t reduce the risk for heart disease, cancer, cognitive decline (such as memory loss and slowed-down thinking) or an early death. They also noted that in prior studies, vitamin E and beta-carotene supplements appear to be harmful, especially at high doses. “Pills are not a shortcut to better health and the prevention of chronic diseases,” says Larry Appel, M.D., director of the Johns Hopkins Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology and Clinical Research. “Other nutrition recommendations have much stronger evidence of benefits-eating a healthy diet, maintaining a healthy weight, and reducing the amount of saturated fat, trans fat, sodium and sugar you eat.” don't waste your money on vitamins guys

The reason many online PC games have level caps or game caps for ranked is because of smurfing. Unlike consoles where your account is tied to the game and the game is often $60, pc players can make unlimited free accounts and log into a fresh one just to stomp on newer players. Although annoying, there aren't many solutions to it.

I'm with Jordan on his idea's intention, it makes sense. The problem with it is that it creates vanity about our mental health. I mean, yeah people don't truly know how happy or unhappy they are, that's just how our braintries to protect us, by hoping it fixes itself soon. And if seeing other people happier means you can work on it yourself to chase that higher number, like money or clout, or if it encouraged people to help those with low numbers, than 100% it works. The problems is that it also creates superiority complexes, schemes to artificially increase happiness, services that might increase the happiness artificially, alienation and bullying, and like with anything; people who refuse to work on themselves/can't realize they have to fix the issues themselves and giving up or thinking it's not in their control.

I’m sorry, but little Z is right. You need a ton of natural talent on top of grinding your whole life. There is no way Jordan would ever make the NBA. The worst player on an NBA team was the best player on their D1 team. They are literally the top .0005 percent of athletes. Not saying this to be rude, but it is a lot harder and more serious then it sounds.
