Poppy has been wearing the same odd looking clown suit the entire US leg of her world tour, unlike UK and EU where she had a different outfit each night. Why? Plus, these US venues eat her up on stage, making her look very tiny. See the concert vids from the UK part of the tour. She was a sole act and the crowd loved her. Very different vibe.

Totally agree. I don't think she plays well for a big mixed audience. Smaller venues she seems to get the crowd going well. Decided not to go see her this year after these vids.

I’m coming from the Cleveland show that happened a few hours ago. I’ve never seen a deader crowd for any artist. I’m not sure why it’s like that. If I had bought a standing seat I’d been going insane

I don't think Poppy's style will be appreciated by everyone. Probably half the crowd wasn't into her, except a few songs. She's pushing creative music boundaries that most artists (except metal) wouldn't attempt. After listening to the recording a bunch of times, I'm a fan. I think she's amazing

I just watched her in cleveland and it looks like it was all pre-recorded and lip synced. plus the crowd was totally dead there, worse than here. she needs to open with some better songs. bloodmoney and church outfit are weak and not ever going to get over with someone else's show. 'lessen the damage' should always be her opener.

Lessen the Damage would be a great opener. There's always a backing track but she sings everything live. Her recordings have layered vocals and harmonies and she has no backup singers. Gotta have a playback with it. Plus all the synths. I've seen her live 6 times. She always sings - and screams.
