It feels like her first album was the sarcastic/"ironic" approach, going full bubblegum pop while pushing non-pop ideas. "Am I A Girl?" started the transition into a darker, more blunt approach to the message, and this new album has gone full aggression.

When it was still like an ARG she encouraged fans to dig deep for information instead of trying to get her actual details from her. I think it was around Bleach Blonde Baby when Titanic really started to push into the 'cult' aesthetic that really showed their creative differences. Poppy *still* very much presents herself as an artificial idol, but you'd notice she doesn't use the cult imagery very much anymore.

The idea was that she was an android following the rules of the producers to make pop songs for money and 'sell out'. But she's since become awakened and rebelling against the company that made her.

Yes what she says at the beginning and end is Japanese. This is what she says: Watashi wa anata ni dōi shimasen. This is what it translates to: I disagree with you. Although I got another translation for it, if you take away the i from dōi then it translates to: I don't care for you. I feel like she could've said doh instead of doe-ee at one point and slightly changed the translation- thus leading to a deeper meaning and it's so freaking cool tbh. Like only people who know Japanese could figure it out. (I've been studying and learning a lot about Japanese since I was a freshman in high school, so I know a few things, including how to pronounce English words in a Japanese accent).

Yeah, this one's my favorite too. Also it was the first Poppy song I ever heard. Thanks to WWE where they used this as an official theme song for one of their NXT pay per views. She's performed live on there twice now as well.
