I think one factor that collectors are frustrated is that IT / W Club is putting more Poppy dolls out there than any of their other lines.

I get that. I know she’s very popular but it seems like she definitely has more releases than all other lines and the recent releases haven’t fan favorites either

And it’s not even so much that there are too many..it’s there are too many just underwhelming poppy releases. Whereas the non poppy dolls are amazing and do not lack the wow factor

The Anniversary Poppy looks like she's on her way to a Debutante Ball ,very pretty but underwhelming to say the least. Now Star Muse for me is everything I want and more,she is giving me my 80s Dream (Like Barbie fell through a portal and ended up in Integrity Universe) I'm definitely here for her 💯🙌🏿🥰

I can see the Debutante Ball for Poppy, though it’s unfortunate that she would fall short from the Belle of the Ball with this look I think Star Muse is so fun! Excited for you 😁

This anniversary doll is SO boring to me!! After getting the AMAZING Kyori gift set this doll is just SO lackluster!! As an “ anniversary” doll it should have been much more exciting. Because she had such a big fan base they could have done an amazing gift set with great accessories. EASY pass on both these girls. But more money for upcoming releases.

I think the Kyori giftset still being so recent on my mind definitely did not help the anniversary Poppy 😅 I just really think more could have been done for such a big occasion!

I grew up in the 70s, 80s and I really liked Star Muse. Its an elevated look to what I grew up seeing. I understand it's a different look for poppy and not for everyone, but I got her and pink perfection. I really like them and see a soft sophisticated look. I clucthed my imaginary pearls when ppl compared them to barbie! I collect barbie, but barbie has never had the detail or quality of IT toys. (Ppl need to put some respect on IT toys name when comparing to some of these other dolls ...😁) I enjoy your reviews, keep speaking your dolly truth.

I am not a Poppstan either but your review of past anniversary dolls was very fair to compare the latest release. I own one Poppy (basic doll) and I do have a Poppy on my grail list. Nostalgia does not play a role in my collecting habits. I was alive in the 60’s and played with Barbie in the 70’s. No desire to play with those era dolls. WoW factor does make me want a doll and when you showed the 10th anniversary Poppy the point was made. That’s was a doll worth collecting.

Wow factor is what I try to always follow when collecting! Doesn’t matter if it’s Poppy or Alejandra, if it’s a good doll then I’m interested 🤩 But it’s weird how much of a change there was between the 10th and the 15th

I am a huge Poppy Parker fan so I was thrilled with this 15th anniversary version. I loved her dark hair with light lipstick and her pale pink gown was totally retro and beautiful to me. I was really surprised to hear that so many people weren't thrilled with her because I thought the fans on the Wclub were at least half and half in favor of her. She was definitely a worthy 15th anniversary Poppy at a fair price for today's inflated market. I was not thrilled with the Star Muse Poppy. She didn't represent Poppy's retro era to me as she looked more 80s to me and definitely like a Barbie clone...more like the playline Barbies from the 90s when quality was better than today's playline. She also seemed over priced at her $175 price tag due to her little shorts jumper fashion. The nicest thing about her was her sequined jacked and roller skates but she definitely didn't seem worth her price tag. I would like to see her designer go back to using more detailed fabrics with embroidery, lace, etc and to continue with better jewelry like with the 15th anniversary Poppy. I would like less simple stud earrings and more detailed purses too.

I watched the Pink anniversary Poppy on another video. My take was for an anniversary doll integrity could've done more. I thought a dark blue ball gown with her pale complexion and dark hair would've set her apart. I also would've liked to have seen her dress with an over laid skirt over a tube dress. And maybe a sexy negligee? That is how I thought the 15 year anniversary should look. She's pretty but was a pass for me. The muse doll is cute and I loved the Jessica reference.😂 I didn't get her though. I have 2 Poppy's as last year was my first year with IT but unless a doll is spectacular 2 of each doll is my limit. Great video and I loved the in-depth research on the previous anniversary dolls. The 10th year one is better imo.❤

Neither a Poppy fan nor opposed to her, but both of these dolls were really underwhelming to me. Given their high price point I expect so much more. I don’t think either doll looks bad, they just don’t speak to me personally.

And you were absolutely on point with your observation of 15th anniversary, she lacks the celebration of poppy and is a huge disappointment. 😞 in my opinion…poppy made need a new or a co-designer. I love poppy but I did pass on all releases except the at home collection

I collect Barbie and integrity dolls, only Poppy although I do have two Agnes dolls. But as for the new poppy releases, aside from the at home collection..i have passed on these poppy dolls. Star muse looks like a Barbie line release…just meaning she looks and is not worth the IT price for her…she could have been anything but this. 😞 for the 15th anniversary…I was anticipating as were most of us poppy girls..a wow factor and an amazing uniqueness for her anniversary. Instead they reused a past dress and made it pastel…her fair skin is beautiful but her features are so harsh and she lacks what the past poppy’s had.

It’s really unfortunate that her newest releases were such a miss for so many collectors. Especially for the Poppy fans. Hopefully this was just a momentary stumble for her and she will hopefully recover

I only like Buttry's dolls and yes that doll reminds me of Barbie, but a collector Barbie not playline. I'm not really interested in any of these because gowns aren't my fave fashion doll, but the 10th is the cutest

I don’t own any collector Barbies (unless you count the movie Barbie) but based off of reviews I’ve seen and going off of the experience of other collectors I still see IT quality to exceed collector Barbies.

So, you know how tradition dictates which anniversary gifts are given for milestone years, typically for wedding anniversaries, but can also be given for career anniversaries? I think they should have designed a dress with something along those lines. She reminds me too much of Friend or Foe Poppy Parker. The roller skating one would be fine for a dealer release but is goofy for a W Club release.

For me she’s beautifully but she’sjust boring ,the fashion isn’t interesting. For an anniversary doll, I would think they wouldn’t hold back. an give us a nice high fashion moment. honestly, I think too many poppy dolls are being created I think they need to slow down with creating , seems like there’s not enough time for developing interesting fashion designs. It reminds me of when I designer have a fashion burn out where they’re doing so many collections that it just starts to get blend and boring. But I see her potential I will still get her and redress her.

Ahh yes, exactly, I feel like she needs a co designer to bring in some fresh poppy ideas and give us what they have been lacking the last 3-4 years
