@@Gemma1006 a youtuber named sheeprampage talked to Zach (the creator of the game) and Zach said that “it’s gonna be darker darker darker and d a r k e r...” that was before the poppy playtime ch4 teaser btw, and after the ch4 Trailer got uploaded a youtuber was talking to one of the devs of project playtime and the dev said that he wanna add CatNap in Project Playtime and also an other monster that we don’t know about he said i can’t tell you about the monster or who is he now, but when the monster will get revealed you will say “we need this in Project playtime now !” That means this monster could be the main villain of ch4 and it’s going to be op in Project Playtime

Baba Chops was confirmed to *not* be the main antagonist of Poppy Playtime Ch.4 she's a placeholder image like the Gas Mask was. Also Icky Licky is a Poison Dart Frog. And my favorite is Rabie Baby because I love her design, her name, and her personality. :)

My personal theory is that the nightmare critters (In the smiling critters show) would have been like the villains because catnap wasn’t the villain in the show, but I feel like they would have created a foe for the smiling critters which would be the nightmare critters. And maybe the nightmare critters got popular enough that playtime decided to make toys of them

My theory (or theories) is that the nightmare critters are targeted towards teens. All of them seem to have the personality of what teenagers would have (gossiping, not wanting to socialize, etc.) Another thing is that most of the pendants have to do with bones. (Could be important?) Lastly, most of the scents are once again, centered around teenagers. (I.e Bubblegum, Chocolate, Rain) Anyways, those are my theories

[THEORY] 8:56 I could be wrong but I feel like it’s interesting to point out how all the characters in both the Smiling Critters and the Nightmare Critters have names that have two words or having some type of tie to the animal, CATnap, DOGday, HOPPER Hopscotch, Maggie Mako, Touille (def a reference to Ratatouille) but then there’s Poe. Poe is just “Poe”. Not only are they interestingly the first Non-Binary Critter (yay) but their name is just one thing. It has no tie to a Raven nor Crows nor is it a play on words (at least I don’t think so). Plus Noodles’ mention of him possible being named after Edgar Allen Poe which leaves me curious as to why? All the other critters are named in a way that either relates to their animal or what they’re known form. Cat’s nap, dog was energetic and fun like the day time, Hopper Hopscotch hopped a lot due to the fact he was a rabbit, etc. Then there’s Poe. Just Poe. It doesn’t have a definition, it’s not a play on words, it could be a reference to Edgar Allen Poe. It’s Unique. Which leaves me thinking is it possible Poe is like that because they’ll be playing an important role in the story? They’re unique, they’re different, plus they seem somewhat less negative or condescending than the other critters aside from Baba Chops, and the getting angry at everything part. It may just be a stretch or I may just be thinking too far into that but I think it’s important to mention.
