For people who are not keeping up with the recent hints and clues we have gotten.. Yarnaby's orphan name was Quin , a boy who used to detach heads from toys because he thought the toys looked "pretty" that way.. Harley Sawyer who is the man responsible for the bigger bodies initiative took a liking to Quin and later converted him to Yarnaby.. It is stated that Yarnaby is the strongest one out of all the bigger body toys but he is loyal to Harley Sawyer only since Yarnaby thinks Harley as his "entire world"..

With that in mind, Yarnaby could more than likely be the most ruthless and relentless threat yet. Huggy acted as more of a wild animal, Mommy just toyed with the MC for revenge before turning feral, Catnap killed only for the Prototype’s honor. Yarnaby already starting out with more violent play as Quin, only for that to be part of the thing that wins the attention and “care” of an adult in a place like Playtime Co raises so many danger flags.

The way Yarnaby’s mouth opens and the multiple rows of fangs reminds me of the alien monster from a sci-fi/horror movie, but I can’t remember its title. Edit: I think it was something like Alien, but I remember it being more of a black tentacle that could impale people. Maybe I’m making up a monster and confusing it with a memory.

Oh my god y’all cooked with this guy. In a lot of mascot horror games, including some chapters of this one tbh, there is some challenge in designing a character that could feasibly be meant to appeal to kids, and also being frightening or corrupted in some way, without making the horror too heavy handed or clashing with the character’s design. This guy treads that line wonderfully. Yarnaby looks soft and with a silly, derpy face that makes me want to pet them like a big puppy, but then the face splitting to reveal horrific, fleshy teeth is chilling, adding that necessary fear factor while also not making someone wonder “how the hell was this supposed to appeal to kids???”. 10/10 character, I can’t wait to see more

It’s a puzzle. The game is like hide and seek combined with red light green light. You not being chased like Catnap or trapped like Mommy Longlegs, but hunted in the “Loins Den” and you only hear it’s “roar” (noise it makes) when the loin has devoured you.. and you must start again

Yarnaby is confirmed to be created _before_ Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, and CatNap. But _not_ before Poppy. It might suggest that Yarnaby is probably gonna be more than just a new threat The Prototype has for the Player. Plus, Yarnaby is only loyal to Harley Sawyer and not anyone else, let alone someone like The Prototype. But if Yarnaby is someone The Prototype sent to kill the Player, this might link to The Prototype's true identity.

One tiny little cinematography bit I absolutely love is when the camera pans back around and the music plays softly behind it, the beam of the flashlight drops ever so slightly, as if the person holding the flashlight has lowered their arm after realizing Yarnaby is right behind them. Such a great touch. I just imagine them standing up straight as their arm slightly drops downwards as they turn around, a look of terror on their face, and probably breathing heavily as well
