Mostly because it was when most of our modern tech & toys were starting to enter the world It gives us a relatively modern time period, with relatively modern tech. But all that tech is in its early, clunky, and semi-unsettling stages of developement. Huggy's design is ripped staight outta pre-2000's pixar. FNaF is similar, 80's era animatronics. A lot of "I can see where they were going, but don't know why they stopped at this" type designs. Perfect for an aesthetic of indie horror And lets not forget, it's a massive "nostalgia" era. A time where a lotta cultural classics are from. Especially in the realm of horror movies. The Exorcist came out in the 70's, and brought horror as a genre on to the map. Friday The 13th & A Nightmare On Elm Street? 80's. IT, and Scream? 90's. All Cult Classics

These are from 1950’s these are really old! I’ll just see what it shows, I can’t remember anything!” As you watch it the tutorial of how to use a grabpack,you get the grabpack, as you rewatch the VHS atape again and again, you finally got it on! (P.t.1) You meet the “beloved” Huggy Wuggy! You say “ he’s freaky…” as you walk around you shoot your grabPack hand the power went out, as you hear a chimming key sound you look up, Huggy’s got the key? How curious…. You grab the key, and unlock the power room, you turn on the power, and you walk out seeing Huggy isnt there…. (P.t. 2) you think about good vibes, this is the only thing you can think about, poppy’s commercial, you remember you used to watch her commercial when you were a kid! (P.t.3) after that happy jolly song, you get shivers down your spine, as you walk down a creepy hallway, you can hear footsteps, and a slithering blue fella hand. It was waving, but now it’s slithering. (Pt.4) you quickly go back as your forgot your wallet, and see a all about Huggy sign, you press the button and it plays this happy jolly song! (Pt.5)

Why does this sound slightly different from the game’s version? The beginning has some beats, and doesn’t have that ‘warped beginning’-result of it not being played for a long time. At 0:09, the game’s version sounds more mellow in tone; this one sounds just like the first part.

I remember it like yesterday; Sitting in front of the TV, watching various shows until a commercial break appears. The first few commercials were boring, about cleaning supplies or hair products. Until another one came on, it's bright colors catching your eyes. You scoot closer to the TV despite your parents many warnings about you going blind, you stare. You stare deep in the TV's blue lights. "His name is Huggy. Huggy Wuggy!" Flashing yellows and reds appear on TV and then the toy being advertised finally appears. It's fluffy blue exterior catching your eye instantly, and with two big eyes shining clear as day. "When he hugs you, he'll never stop!" The TV shows a little girl wrapping her arms around the toy, squeezing it tightly. The toy stayed motionless, until the camera angle changes. It shows the little girl with her back to the camera, Huggy's face handing off her shoulder and staring directly at the cameras. It's arms moved to hug her back, of course, it was video effects, but it still looked SO real. A giggle played as the toy hugged her back, it was a goofy giggle, bubbly in nature. "Your friend, Huggy. Huggy Wuggy." This time, a CGI version of the toy appeared on screen, waving at the viewer (In this case, it was you!). You wave back at the TV smiling slightly. "He'll hug you until you pop!" A popping noise was heard, and the CGI toy popped into confetti. "Huggy Wuggy was made by Playtime CO and was created in 1984." Then a number appeared on screen, "(597)-939-PLAY" You run to get a piece of paper from your room to write down the number, but by the time you get back downstairs, it's gone, and your show continued to play. You sigh in defeat and plop on the floor in front of the TV, and go on with your day.
