Pops Culture: Episode 1 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Fans of the series already the know the story of how Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman created a single issue comic that went on to become a worldwide phenomenon, but how much do you actually know about those heroes in a half shell? Before they were mutants, before they were teenagers, before they were even zygotes, there was a bus driver in New Hampshire whose leap into action led to the birth of the greatest turtle-based franchise in popular culture. This is true story of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I can easily say that the inclusion of this guy in the old pictures are Photoshoped. I don't think it's necessary to Photoshop the old pics, he looks exactly the same in the pictures as in the interview, it makes me doubt if the story of him connecting Peter with Kevin is true or not. Aside from the Photoshop detail, excellent story-telling, this guy really grabs me with his narration skills. As a big TMNT fan, I'm very excited to hear how it all started.

@@adamsipione Of course it's Photoshopped, but it's part of the fun. They also obviously start with a fake Bus Drivers license to give the mood. However, the last picture (in color) is real.
