Walking in MUNICH / Germany 🇩🇪- 4K 60fps (UHD)

Munich (German: München) is the capital of the German state of Bavaria and besides an industrial center also a major tourist destination. On this summer day we walk around the inner city.
Starting from the Karlsplatz we first walk to the Marienplatz, the central square of the city. We visit several nearby churches such as the iconic Frauenkirche and also check out the food market "Viktualienmarkt".
This tour covers a good range of sights with ending at the Odeonsplatz near the Hofgarten from where we will start another walk.

So beautiful and orderly... Streets, pavements, squares, walls, etc are all clean although so many foreigner are involved.. Buildings and walls are in order and proper sequence..No any disturbing sound, view on around. Loopholes on the streets and areas are at the same level with neighbors so that human foots do not contact with while walking. No any inconvenient subject or structure around it that seems badly or improper with each other.. Historical tissue are preserved on the building that reflects old-times.. And many other properties the city and people need together... Congratulations to architects, engineers, masters, designers, scientists, composers, authors, managers, instructors, workers, technicians and German people.....

God, I love this city. I take stop-over flights including Munich on purpose, each and every time, to walk around the city while waiting. People are so nice, the scene is beautiful, everything works orderly. Love it.

München - eine Metropole mit wunderschönen Häusern , Statuen und Kirchen wo die Sauberkeit in die Augen sticht. Eine "Mekka " , wo Touristen gerne kommen. Man merkt sofort dass, die Vätern des Landes sich sehr professionell und sorgsam , um die Stadt kümmern. München ist eine wunderschöne Stadt , dass man immer wieder gerne besuchen kommt.

Well I’ve never seen any city that is SO CLEAN like this. So big streets and clean!!! Look at the sky...I can feel Germany is the least polluted country in the world. Also they preserve their old infrastructure so well, looks so modern and clean. People are so civilised as well.

One word: Bavarians. The rest of Germany is not as clean like Munich.

It's kinda funny - because when it becomes "normal" you don't ever really think about it. But it's kinda backed into everyday behavior. And of course there are exemptions like everywhere else. Tourists or immigrants from different cultures might not be used to it and throw something on the street occasionally - but in general they also respect it for the most part. Because if it's clean - you don't want to be the bad example. And for the munich natives it's common practice from childhood basically - you don't throw stuff on the streets. There are trashcans everywhere in an acceptable walking distance. Littering is considered really bad behavior. And the city itself is economically amongst the wealthiest in germany. Real estate is expensive and scarce - due to dense population. So investments in the buildings to keep them nice and clean are worthwhile ones - because it drives up the price in the long run. But on a funny side-note - when you're used to that kind of high cleanliness. I often enjoy the "grittiness" of other international big cities - just because it feels more urban big city like.... 🤣🤣 Munich has the notion that it often feels like a village - even though it's major city with 1.5 million citizens. But what I really enjoy about our city the most - is the safety. It's by far and large a very, very safe city to live in. 😎👍

There was one guy whose job appeared to only be to wipe down the steps to the platform after a few people had been up and down. Berlin on the other hand was a bit more messy, reminded me of home in the UK :)

We came to Munich in 2017 with our family. Loved every minute of it. Watching this I realize we missed a lot. I have a suggestion- how difficult would it be to include a map in one corner.

Later in 2021 I started recording the map both as video and GPS data. I recently bought an additional PC to use editing software and include the map recording. POPtravel will remain without a map for now. Subtitles may come to videos in to keep the video relaxing and simple enough for uploading while traveling. However, I am working on a new channel format where both an online map and different camera perspectives will be visible for a more "dynamic" view. Details should be available soon once I edit the video and can determine if that's possible as a hobby still.
