I (unfortunately) read it when it was still a Harry Styles fan-fiction, and I don’t think I can ever see it as anything other than that. It’s incredibly strange to think she just changed all of the characters names (but gave them the same initials???) and published it as a book, but left the fan-fiction on Wattpad. Even stranger to think it was made into a movie.

The only book I've read from this list is Miss Peregrine's. I did first watch the movie and liked it so I read the books (well the first two). I'm still debating whether I want to continue with the series or not (I heard about these books from jessethereader which is the initial reason I started the series in the first place, I didn't realize how popular it was till later)

I read the first book and I loved it but it took a while to read the second one and holly hell I couldn't get past page 50 mark because of the writing. ill give the sun was not something I enjoyed as well and I have the same experience with miss peregrines. man the movie was not good at all and the ending left me in a wtf moment

I agree with you in that I could NOT get through The Cruel Prince. There was nothing that made me want to finish it, and Carden was just so awful it wasn’t even enjoyable. I’m glad I tried it at least though. Same with Miss Peregrine’s: it wasn’t my thing at all. I read the first one but didn’t want to pick up the sequels because I didn’t really connect to it.

I finished the fault in our stars, and like it's a 3 star book for me, it's just average. I really wanted to like it, but John Green seemed to be forcing this I'm not like other girls caricature on Hazel and Augustus. Like he was trying to go out of his way to make them seem 'deep' and philosophical, and quirky. Or is that just me, lol? I appreciate the effort John Green put into writing this book, but it wasn't for me.

Not a particular book but I have never cared for Cassandra Clare at all, even when I read her books back in middle school. There's honestly a part of me that wishes she'd try to branch out from the Shadowhunter concept so I could give her another shot, but I just can't get behind the world at all.

Liked Shadow and Bone but was just meh for the second book which introduced Nicoli, I believe, and so I didn’t read that book either. I haven’t actually finished the last book in e Shadow and Bone trilogy. All the other books I agree with. I’m reading the folk of air series right now and I felt like the author could have made Jude more interesting because she did seem like e pretty bland character. The romance between Her and Cardan also felt rushed in the first book because one second they wanted to kill eachother and the next they’re making out? UMMM what? Like Jude just stated she hated him but still wants him? YEAH NO. I haven’t read the second book but I’m hoping it gets better because I really do want to like this series.

I absolutely agree for the Cruel Prince. I went in the series expecting it to become my absolute favorite and then I was just thinking how in the hell this gets so much hype?😂 I continued with the series though and I can say that book two was genuinely good and interesting and then the last book had so much potential and it just hit the fan, I was just angry, not disappointed but angry YA authors choose such safe endings nowadays, so yeah, I'm now actually really afraid of hyped books cause I just don't believe in them anymore. Sorry for the long comment! I love you and can you do a video for popular books you actually liked!😊💛

Not sure if I'm wrong here but it might be the "Piera Forde" videos I think? I've watched her channel for years. She did 3 episodes of Nevernight and did a really amazing job. She deserves more credit for it from the production alone. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zpa2anqfjad1gtE (First episode has sexual themes, this is taken RIGHT from the start of the Nevernight book where Mia compares her first time having s*x with her first time killing someone-just to give context lol )

I’ve seen quite a few mixed opinions on the cruel prince. But because of lockdown, my library has moved to online so you borrow ebooks & audiobooks. And I found an audiobook of the cruel prince so was like why not try it. And I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would! I didn’t love it like a lot of others on here, but it was much better than I expected. Although, I think I only rlly enjoyed it cause of the audiobook & I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed it as much if I’d physically read it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I fully agree with not liking Jude though, she annoyed me so much and I felt like slapping her & screaming advice at her multiple times during it 😂

What you hated about the Leigh Bardugo books is exactly what made me love them so much! It's funny how polarizing those books are. But I agree with the entirety of your list, except for those last two. But my absolute least favorite series that I wouldn't hesitate to burn for heat on a mild winter's day are Red Queen and Matched. Red Queen is the most unoriginal piece of garbage I've ever read, and Matched had a great premise but failed in execution, and nothing happened at all. Plus the characters were the most boring people I've read in my life. 😅
