i hate how booktok says that we were liars is so overrated and that it's never good to begin with like bro stfu. i discovered that book way before booktok, probably 6-7 years ago? i was 15. and boy that book broke me! i literally bawled my eyes out. i cannot move on. it plagued my mind for a couple of days.

Beach Read has become my favorite when I read it, I just bumped into that book and love it. It's so good! It felt like I was brought into this small town, away from the city and stress, just staying in my own little bubble with bae and everything else doesn't matter.

November 9th was the first Colleen Hoover book I read and I really enjoyed it. The one I didn't end up liking so much was Ugly Love. I dated a pilot and just couldn't buy into Miles' character. lol I realize that's totally a me thing though.

I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO DIDN'T LIKE MILES. Ugly Love is one of the books that made me bawl and I never cry reading books or watching movies. I gave ugly love a 3/5 and it ends with us a 4/5 and November 9 was also a 3/5 for me.

@@AnnabelleChan I didn’t like Ugly Love. There was no romance between Tate and Miles. Miles was like my least favorite love interest of any of Colleen’s book. He just lead Tate on and talked about Rachel 90% of the time

If you liked "Punk 57" by Penelope Douglas you should give "Dear Love, I Hate You" by Eliah Greenwood a shot, it's a penpal romance, enemies to lovers, the smut left me speechless, and I absolutely loved it ... It's pretty underrated, but it's worth your time!

I am so proud that I predicted the twist in we were liars. Please allow me to flex that because I feel a need to be witnessed. I did not like the book very much, but partially because I assumed that my twist prediction was true and I didn’t give a damn about the characters.

The fact that you mentioned the ending of We Were Liars was the same as “that” movie. I don’t wanna say the name for spoilers. But that’s the exact same way I felt!!!! I did not like that book at all because it was boring and very predictable and I was just thinking of the movie the whole time I was like I swear if it has the same ending….. and it did. I’ve never heard anyone make that comparison so thank you! I thought I was alone.

Curious if you’ve tried reading TJ Klune? I know he was big on booktube a few years ago with his Green Creek series (deserves ALL OF THE HYPE!) but I just read his YA series (first 2 of 3 are released) and I’m pretty sure I’ve never laughed so hard in my life? And think you might become as obsessed as me just knowing your energy from your content! The way to “read” it though is audiobook because the narrators must be the absolute greatest narrator based on how he gave the characters life. Never have I wanted to rate a book a million stars until now
